It all began with me having to represent clients who had their own baggages. One is a doc who unfortunately had a lawsuit against him in some western country that resulted to his license being taken away and now he is an academician and lecturer. And another is a client who is working with a slackish partner in a project and because they are a HUGE org, media wont give them free publicity even though the project is a worthy cause.
AND plus it is CNY. So getting interviews was hell for both... and then one media actually found out about the law-suit! which totally killed my chances with the station even tho they were initially interested!
And then, the only free interview we had for the worthy-to-mention project, my media tracking guys accidentally deleted a recording of the interview and my client wanted to buy it.
So I was basically fighting fire after fire and solving drama after drama (a few more I am too tired to mention). And finally this morning, I was really at my wits end... and I have to thank my parents and Uncle who have been so encouraging and praying for me. The lawsuit doc has left and because we couldnt get as many interviews as we wanted, we are writing the articles and pitching it to a few publications. Now, many have said, yes, please send it to us, but I am wondering if it is their way of trying to get rid of us.
And as for the missing recording, my mama called this morning to check up on me cos I was really distraught a few days ago and she prayed for me. After we said Amen, a mail came in, and my tracking guys said they managed to retrieve it.
*SIGH*
To say it was pure luck, I dont know. But the timing was just to perfect to be coincidence. The tracking dudes start work early and he said they manage to find it last night - but only this morning after my mom prayed, the good news came through.
I am just speechless.. and humbled and so lost for words at how at the nick of time, God saves my ample ass again!
God rocks man! :-P
