I submitted my visa application a week and a few days ago. And many times when I enquired, they never mentioned to me that I had to wait till they approve my visa to return my passport.
So there I was – on my way back to KL after Deepavali and so excited to go to Singapore to see Aunty K and Uncle KC. Thank God my sis reminded me about my passport. I was like SHIT! We went that night itself to change my bus ticket to a later timing so I can still make it to pick up my passport and leave. But lo and behold – they would not release it to me. I told them I was informed many times I can pick it up anytime, they said it was wrong information. Said if I needed my passport on emergency, I had to appeal which in the end would take a few days – which was then pointless to me! I was pissed and upset – wasted money.
So since my plans to meet Boss and N about the Boh video didn’t work out, I thot since I was here, I can do it now. But when I smsed Boss, I realised we have had a crazy month and maybe we all needed the break – which Boss agreed with me. So we never met up.
All I did the rest of the week was to eat, sleep and watch movies. I also met up with the SMACC gang for a bit, SW and J and S. Was good catching up with them and not have to be worried about work and just chill out. I must admit these past few days I have not bothered with work at all. I was tempted to do a bit of work but procrastination took over… hahaha… oh well… when I get back to work it is going to be a tough one. Waking up and getting dressed is going to be torture. I enjoyed staying in my jeans and slippers and turning back to skirts and stuff is going to be hard – esp since I have put on weight. But I azam to lose weight… so maybe I should just get PJ to be my lose weight buddy…
Anyway, I thank God that Singapore didn’t work out. It was definitely God’s blessing in the end!
